Geelong scaffolding FAQ
How do I go about getting a scaffold hire quote?
Perimeter Scaffolding can quote most jobs from plans, but we can also attend your job site for a measure and quote if required due to complications or the absence of plans. The best way to request a quote is simply to contact us, you can call to discuss the best way to quote your job or organise a free on-site consultation.
If you are confident in your plans, then you can email them through with any additional and relevant information and we can organise the quote from that. All our Geelong scaffold hire quotes are free with no obligation. We also offer free consultations on all things scaffolding, even if it’s just over-the-phone advice.
How qualified is Perimeter Scaffolding’s field team?
All our onsite team members are certified Geelong scaffolders who also hold their occupational health and safety induction cards. A Licence to Perform High Risk Work is also a requirement of all of our scaffolders. Our staff also hold all licenses required to perform our services, including forklift licenses, first aid certificates and medium and heavy rigid vehicle licenses.
Where do I stand if any scaffolding is damaged while on my project site?
You will need some sort of insurance. Once Perimeter Scaffolding erects scaffolds on a customer or client’s site, the equipment becomes their responsibility. If any scaffolding is damaged or disappears from your site during the hire period, you may be charged additional fees. However, your building insurance is more than likely to cover and loss or damage to scaffolding during a project. We would recommend you double check your coverage before hiring scaffolding.
How far does Perimeter Scaffolding travel for scaffold hire and services?
We are a Geelong scaffold company and service the Greater Geelong region. However, we do travel further afield to provide our scaffold hire, scaffold sales and services. We have a strong Melbourne client base and will service Melbourne and its outer-reaching suburbs, however no further east. But, we do travel further west, south west and north of Geelong, including the Surf Coast, south-west and central Victoria.
What brand of scaffolding do you use?
Perimeter Scaffolding provides, hires out and sells Kwikstage scaffolding, which is commonly spelled as ‘quick stage’ scaffolding. We have 700 tonnes of Kwikstage steel scaffolding, or quick stage scaffolding, stored indoors at our premises.
